I've done it, and I'm excited about it. Two years ago, I published the book Fall of Knight through Booktrope publishers. It was very successful. Out of 40 reviews on Amazon, it received a 4.5 out of 5. Unfortunately, the original publisher closed shop. I have wondered what to do with it since then, especially since it ended with kind of a cliffhanger, and I had written a sequel to it.

I decided to republish it independently, and you can find it at the above link. Available both in ebook and paperback, Fall of Knight will thrill and chill you. In fact, the publishing of it enabled me to be admitted to the International Thriller Writers Inc. something for which I am very proud. I'm going to follow up this publication with the sequel in a few weeks.  Before I did that, however, I wanted to make the first book available.
I encourage you to purchase a copy and read it, not because it will make money for me (though that is a plus) but because it is a young adult novel that tackles some tough issues: mental illness and bullying.

Dean Knights family (his mom, twin sister, and he -- his dad drowned, supposedly) move to a cottage next to the very river where Dean's dad drowned. The move re-ignites Dean's mental illness which causes him to see his dead father and makes him hear voices. Things worsen when he becomes the target of bullies, most of them buddies of the jock whom Dean's sister has fallen for.  Even love cannot stop Dean's head-long plummet into the darkness of mental illness.
Read the reviews to see the impact the novel has had on people.

One of my former students messaged me on Facebook when I said that I was thinking about republishing the book,  Please do this. Fall of Knight was one of the most important books I read in my formative high school years. It helped me understand a lot about my mental illness, and helped me to be more open-minded towards others with mental illness as well. I will be sure to get another copy (as I loaned mine out and never saw it again) as well as purchase the sequel. I wish you and your writing endeavors the best!

I'd be happy to answer any questions any of you might have about the book. Just message me.
